FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What tips do you have for burning PickMeUp candles?
Always trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting (we suggest using a wick trimmer). The first time you light your candle, let it burn for 3-4 hours to allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container to prevent your candle from tunneling.
What makes PickMeUp different?
We believe in blending fun, energy, and purpose. Our candles not only infuse your space with lively scents but also encourage open conversations about mental health and self-care. We're on a mission to make mental health discussions as normal as lighting a candle.
Are PickMeUp candles eco-friendly?
Yes! Our candles are made from all-natural soy wax (which is renewable and biodegradable), cotton, lead-free wicks and certified fresh scents. We're committed to sustainable practices and use recyclable packaging elements, with a continued effort and focus to make them even more sustainable, in order to reduce our environmental footprint.
How does PickMeUp support Mental Health Awareness?
We actively promote mental health conversations through our candle collections, social media campaigns, and partnerships with mental health organizations. A portion of our profits is also dedicated to supporting mental health initiatives.

How do I burn a candle safely?
Trim the candle wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before lighting.
Keep the candle away from flammable materials. At least a foot (30 cm) of clearance around the candle is recommended.
Ensure the room has good airflow to prevent the accumulation of smoke and soot.
Never leave a burning candle unattended–always extinguish it before leaving the room. Avoid using water, instead, a snuffer is a great tool for this.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Stop using the candle when it has burned down to within 2 inches (5 cm) of the holder to prevent overheating and potential fires.
Keep unused candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Have a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and fire escape plan in place in case of an accident.
